The Snowbed (2008)

(In collaboration with Sasha Waltz & Guests for the dance piece ARS MELANCHOLIAE)
my melancholy: a place of quiet currents and tides, where I can indulge in the comfort of a tender sadness, a state that can be looked for, embellished, a landscape of restful beauty where the gaze and mind wander in misty air; as much as a place of total loss of oneself, of unbearable sadness and pain, a blinding utter darkness, of restlessness and despair.
